When carriers make a mistake, the team at Freight Control Inc. ensures our clients receive the credits and refunds they deserve. We audit every shipment charge and submit claims directly to the carriers, recouping what would have been lost money for rate errors, duplicate and invalid charges,
and late deliveries.
- First and foremost, Freight Control Inc. specializes in confirming carrier compliance related to service guarantees. If a carrier is late with a delivery, we identify this exception and secure refunds. This audit is available not only for domestic U.S. shipments, but also international shipments, too. If there’s a guarantee, we’ll ensure the carrier honors it!
- We also monitor shipper non-compliance issues like erroneous 3rd party billed and Collect shipments as well as shipments not following routing guide instructions. We can provide reports of any non-compliant shipments and work directly with the shipper to enforce future compliance and/or issue “chargeback” penalties.
Freight Control Inc. compares the contracted rates for shipments, accessorial charges, and fuel against the charges billed by the carrier(s). Additionally, we confirm that charges for the same shipment have not appeared on previous invoices. For any rate errors or duplicate charges identified, we submit claims directly to the carrier(s) and secure credits.
